Well on Christmas Eve, instead of doing some last minute shopping in Greenwich, I did an about turn, got my trusty boots and instead made my way down to one of our favourite mudlarking areas - where I often find some lovely glass for my fish, as well as some interesting finds left in the mud by the tide. I was not disappointed. I found a beautiful old victorian police whistle. other finds included 3 world war 2 bullets and an old brass military button. It is unfortunate that then on Christmas day I was struck down by flu! I am only now recovering and hope to make some fish in the studio today. I cannot remember the last time I felt so ill! Out of 365 days of the year, it just had to be Christmas Day that I felt the worst! However, it seems to be on the way out now, and so I hope to be back to normal soon.
